Man accused of homicide after purportedly wounding mother and killing her feline

A man has been accused of homicide after supposedly wounding his mom, killing her feline and burning down her home in Sydney’s south-west.
Firemen were called to a home in Bankstown around 7pm on Sunday after reports of a little fire at the property.
At the point when they showed up and smothered the burst, firemen tracked down 67-year-old Katherine Safranko toward the rear of the home with huge head wounds. She kicked the bucket at the scene.

Police claim her 31-year-old child, Troy Safranko, was close by and moved toward officials while purportedly holding a kitchen blade, Criminal investigator Director Martin Hayston said.
Two officials released their Tasers at Mr Safranko.
He was captured and taken to medical clinic for appraisal, prior to being gotten back to Bankstown police headquarters on Monday.
